Premium Newborn Care Specialist and Parent Support Training and Certification
A foundational blended learning and mentorship program that prepares you to support newborns and families with confidence, professionalism, and heart.
It is An in-house training program of HIMBA Placement Agency Inc., using the professional curriculum of Beyond Baby Care™.
This training program is structured as a blended learning experience with three core components to ensure comprehensive learning.
Starting off with 2 online learning – Red Cross Pediatric CPR and a video-based course on A Baby Nurse for Every Newborn, where all the essential theories are discussed. These must be completed before the hands-on sessions begin because it’s important that you show up knowledgeable of the foundation, in order to fully engage during hands-on practice.
Next is the In-Person training (2 days). Once we’re in person, it becomes a focused, hands-on experience. This is where you get to apply what you’ve learned—through real-life demos, guided practice, and return demonstrations. It’s immersive and confidence-building, preparing you as you enter the field of newborn caregiving and parental support.
After the training days, we will have a 3 session post-training one on one skills assessment and mentorship, personalized guidance, resume building and mock interview, to help you be ready and confidently transition into your new career as a Newborn Care Specialist.

In 2015, I founded Beyond Baby Care LLC, a New York–based company dedicated to elevating newborn care through professional training and support for families.
In 2017, I co-founded HIMBA Placement Agency Inc., a premium provider of Newborn Care Specialist services.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for more than 120 newborns—including preemies, singletons, and multiples—with 90% of my work spent in around-the-clock care. These experiences have allowed me to walk closely with families during the first and most delicate weeks of life.
I’ve also trained and mentored aspiring newborn caregivers across the U.S., and in 2025, I expanded my in-person trainings to San Francisco and Los Angeles, growing the reach of my work on the West Coast.
In April 2025, I was honored to receive 3 highest awards of global recognition at the Women Changing the World Awards in the United Kingdom. It’s a meaningful acknowledgment of my dedication to empowering parents, uplifting caregivers, and strengthening the earliest days of a family’s journey.

I integrate multiple disciplines—newborn care, sleep science, mental health awareness, lactation support, safety education, and gentle organizing—to create a holistic support system for families.
My purpose is to help families thrive during the earliest days of life, and to help caregivers develop the skills and confidence to serve with excellence, empathy, and integrity.
